A variety of options

Implants & Dentures

If you are missing teeth, you may be having difficulty with eating and even speaking. Further deterioration can affect your jawbone as well, which over time may alter the appearance of the lower half of your face. Life without a full set of teeth can also impact your self-confidence. At Chico Dental Design Studio, we offer a variety of solutions for our patients who are missing teeth.

Implants replace teeth that have been lost to decay, gum disease, or injury. Implants can be both restorative and cosmetic in nature, returning full function to your mouth while also giving you a smile that you love. Implants are also used sometimes to support multiple teeth when bridgework or crowns are utilized to restore and repair your bite.

At Chico Dental Design Studio, we make it our priority to provide you with the best implants available in dental medicine. Dr. Hiersche places Straumman implants. The trusted specialists that he refers to for the most complex implant cases work with Straumman implants and Nobel Biocare implants.

Dental implants can be used in conjunction with dentures to stabilize and maintain bone, and improve confidence and function.

Dentures are prosthetic devices constructed to replace missing teeth, and they are supported by the surrounding soft and hard tissues in your mouth. Dentures can give you back your chewing abilities and a natural-looking smile. Removable dentures are very common, but there are actually many different types of dentures, including ones that you don’t remove each night (fixed dentures). These types of dentures rely on bonding or clasping onto teeth or dental implants.

We offer a variety of implant and denture options, depending on your specific situation and needs. Dr. Hiersche will discuss the options with you, so you can make an informed decision for yourself.

We offer these prosthetic options (and more) at our office:

  • Traditional dentures: complete and partial
  • Implant Assisted Prosthesis with Locator Attachment
  • Implant Supported Prosthesis with Milled Bar (A fixed option that patients can remove)
  • Fixed Implant Supported Prosthesis
